Catching Up.......

So, I braved the cold ass weather, and weeknight scheduling to attend the Fools Gold Show at Ottobar last night. I love my town, but WTF, Bmore dance-floor's are normally some of the craziest in the country, with ass shaking madness, and plenty of stage crashing, but apparently not last night. I'm hoping everyone was just too burned out from watching all the endless campaign ads to get all crazy and shit. Catchdub's almost started a riot with a carefully placed Rod Lee track, but went off a bit too soon, and let Trackademics take over. Now, those guys have potential, but when your playing to an audience that's used to Spank Rock (Devlin and Darko were in the building...) going absolutely mental on stage, you need to bring your A-game. The drinks were cheap and while the dance-floor was quite, the bar area was popping off. (......plus, I met Scottie B. so I can't really bitch.)
